Our Team

Brooke Joiner grew up in the Valley and continues to call it home with her husband and five children.  The Joiners are also therapeutic foster parents with People Places.  Brooke proudly served our country in the Virginia Army National Guard for nine years before pursuing her social work degree from James Madison University.  She then completed her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.  She has years of experience working with children and adults of all abilities. 

Brenda Diaz is a 2017 graduate of Spotswood High School and continues to live in the Valley with her three children. She graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. 

She has five years of early childhood, as well. as several years of administrative experience that makes her an asset to the team.
